🚀06: Are you celebrating your wins?
Big win? Small win? Three tips I use to celebrate every win!
I used to think it was bullish to recount one’s achievements. I just didn’t think I deserved to celebrate my achievements. Like many, I typically focused on waiting for a grand achievement before acknowledging my wins.
Then, in 2020, I realized that one of the keys to success was recognizing my little wins. I signed up to become a facilitator for Google’s #IamRemarkable initiative, and with each training and workshop I facilitated, it got easier. I got more comfortable with celebrating my wins.
Learning how to celebrate your wins is important if you want to find a way to motivate yourself.
Big wins, small wins, career progress, personal progress, financial growth, spiritual growth, and family goals are all worth celebrating.
It’s hard enough to meet our goals sometimes, so you deserve to be celebrated as you work towards achieving them goals. So if you’re wondering how to celebrate your wins, here are a couple tips to note:
Have a brag sheet to track your progress (a book, journal, notes app, google doc, notion). Anything works, just be conscious about tracking.
Be grateful. Sometimes, it might seem like you’re far away from where you want to be. But it’s also likely true that you’re far from where you used to be. Channel your energy into finding gratitude where you are.
Give yourself grace. Don’t be too hard on yourself, reward yourself instead when you accomplish something big or small.
Inspired by a tweet on my timeline, I put out my brag sheet for the month of February on Twitter.

It felt good to think about how the month went, and to be able to count big and small wins across my career and personal life. I’m grateful for the big and small wins, and tbvh, I’m already feeling pumped about March :)
So, I think I’ll make this a thing this year. You should too, you have a win worth celebrating.
P.S: It doesn’t even have to be on social media, a journal works too. Just make it a habit. Will you join me?
Note to Self:
Don’t put pressure on yourself trying to overachieve. Goals are hard work, so don’t beat yourself up even if you don’t meet the goals. Remember your small win (and every win) is worth celebrating.
You are Remarkable!
So true👍
Sometimes we only see how far we are from where we'd like to be and forget that we aren't where we used to be.
Also noting these wins help when Imposter Syndrome rears its ugly head. You'd be able to see all the things you've done and reassure yourself of your awesomeness 👌
